\f0\b\fs24 \cf0 \ul \ulc0 More Clues
\f1\b0 \ulnone \
\
This file contains more in depth and more direct clues than the 'Clues' level file contained with this package. This file contains specific help with each level in turn, and may spoil your experience of this set of levels.\
\
1. Sea Scourge:\
\
This level is all about speed. The three black monks mean that you will have very little time to stand still. Always keep moving. There are two things that should help you with this level. Firstly, a monk will freeze on top of you without doing you harm if you do not move after planting the freezing power-up. Secondly, only one of the tree trunks touches the ground. The other can only be reached from the tree structure itself. You can get to it most easily by jumping off the left-hand ladder. You can then finish the level by climbing off screen using the red ladder.\
\
My route through this level in to climb up the tree as quickly as possible. You can then trap all of the monks up in the tree while collecting all of the gold on the ground. Then, climb up the tree once more and move to the second trunk to grab the remaining gold. \
\
2. Synchrotron:\
\
This level should be reasonably straightforward. Simply collect the gold while keeping out of the way of the blue monks. Their paths are reasonably straightforward, and understanding them is the key to solving this level. If you are having problems, as the 'Clues' level suggests, try digging just behind your path as a blue monk comes behind you. This should give you a little more time to navigate if you need to. Be careful - each tile on the edge of this level is a corner tile, allowing your loder to fall!\
\
3. The Dreaming Spires:\
\
This level requires you to find a couple of carefully hidden secrets. There are three bombs waiting in the area where you start. There is also a \\ bomb shown in plain view. Two other secrets are important. Firstly, a / bomb is hidden within the box at the centre of the barrier dividing this level in two. In the second section containing the monks, there is a X bomb. Finding these bombs should help you solve this level. The monks regenerate quickly. It is best to use a power-up that enables you to move among them rather than to destroy some of them. The exit ladders will appear when you flip the switch.\
\
In order to complete the challenge to use both exit ladders, you will need to find another bomb hidden in a box. You will have to find where that bomb is hidden.\
\
4. Foothold:\
\
Now the levels become more complex. This might initially seem a simple level, but there is much more to it than meets the eye. The correct path to take is the top-left path. You'll be given several opportunities to get the gold. It will be made obvious when you can get it safely. Rather, look for hidden triggers. These will be hidden in parts of the level that initially look like they are there for show or symmetry. Try walking around as much of the level as you can, including the decorations. You might also try jumping off a ladder that seemingly leads to nothing. Why was that ladder placed there when an undiggable square would have done just as well?\
\
You need to get the doughnut in order to finish the level. However, you might find it quite easy to die upon getting it. The | bombs in this level do come in useful. What square might you destroy that can only be destroyed using these bombs?\
\
5. Heaven's Gate:\
\
This level is all about symmetry. Look at the shadows cast by the upper levels. These are the clues to where the invisible triggers are hidden. All but one of the triggers is distributed symmetrically about the central ladder. There are many triggers. If all else fails, keep moving about and jumping off the upper levels. You will find the triggers eventually. These will open up more areas of the level to explore. The short pillars topped by the yellow balls are very important, as the initial shadows expect. You could always see whether landing on one would be beneficial.\
\
The final trigger is not distributed symmetrically. Some parts of the upper levels will disappear. These should suggest a certain square to jump off from the top level. You will know how to exit the level when the time is right.\
\
Final:\
\
What happened at the end of Heaven's Gate? There is a little story to this. The doughnut you picked up in Foothold was more powerful than you thought. Its energy was what was holding together the Midnight Plane. At the end of Heaven's Gate, you inadvertently used its powers to open a portal back to your real world. However, doing so drew upon such tremendous powers that the entire realm, save for the region immediately about the portal, was destroyed. The sun now shines through the rent space upon a fractured world.\
