Speccy Tour 2002 Speed Violation Help file

You'll maybe have problems running some games, meaning that it stops your recording because of speed violation. There's several things you can do to sort this out. (note: if you have PC faster then Pentium/200
you won't experience any speed-problems with DOS vrsion of RealSpec ;-)

First try to set VideoSync (line 12 in INI file) to off '0'. This will
already make the games run a lot faster.

If that's not enough, then the easiest and probably the best way to
solve the problem is to turn off the sound, by setting Sound State
(F12) to Off.

You can also set up the Frameskip (line 14 in the INI file) rate until the problem is solved. But try to start with Frameskip 11, to see if it
helps at all.

However, I noticed that a game like Froggy have problems when setting
up the Frameskip. It does not react 100% on keyboard input (game is from 1982 so it's not 'well written' for emulators). Therefore,
turning off the sound would in most cases be the best thing to do.

These things can be changed to help to solve your Speed problems. VideoSync, Sound, Frameskip and Video Resolution.

Hope this is a little help. If you need more help, please E-mail me.
