Lode Runner
My really crude re-creation of the timeless classic. Download it here (with source).
Areas of Interest
| Technology | About |
| Language Parsing | Go to http://alicebot.org/and talk to the robot. Ask it "How many more legs does a dog have than a man?" and see how smart it is. A two-time winner of the annual Loebner Prize, Alice is one of the brightest artificial minds out there. HAHA! 'nuff said. |
| Bipedal Locomotion | It's ridiculous. We're in the year 2002 now and we still
don't have walking robots. Intuitively, I think walking is just a
continuous process of falling, except that you break the fall with each
advancing step. If you can build a self-balancing robot (i.e. inverse
pendulum), walking should just be a matter of keeping it upright after an
initial push.
I think Honda and MIT are going the wrong way with their research. They make walking seem so meticulously calculated. |
| Neural Nets | I want to use this in my Chat-Bot somehow. Ideas anyone? |
| Physics Simulation | I would do this just for fun.. |
